Pietta 1858 Remington Army Black Powder Revolver 44 Caliber Barrel Steel Frame Blue Information
The 1858 Remington was one of the major side arms of the Civil War and was the last of the Remington percussion revolvers to be manufactured. The ruggedness of the solid frame and the ability to quickly change cylinders made the Remington Army a favorite of officers and infantry alike during the Civil War. More than 125,000 of these revolvers were produced by Remington.
