The B.MAG Blued Heavy Barrel was built around the 17 Win. Super Magnum cartridge, which creates unprecedented rimfire velocities of up to 3,000 feet per second. To make the most of the load’s potential, Savage gave the rifle features usually reserved for centerfires, such as an action with rear locking lugs, a cock-on-close bolt, thread-in barrel headspacing and a center-feed rotary magazine. The B.MAG Blued Heavy Barrel also has Savage’s game-changing AccuTrigger, which shooters can safely adjust for a light, clean pull.

First selling point is that it takes Glock mags. What is cooler then shooting your Glock with a 33 round mag then swap the mag and put it in a carbine. Second, it has 2 picatinny rails. One on top for a sight of your choosing. It has a rail on the bottom for a bipod, laser, flashlight or however you want to customize it with. It’s lightweight and so fun to shoot. I was shooting 5 to 6 inch groups at 50 yards with a bipod and a red dot. Not sure if that is good but try that with a pistol I bet you can’t. Ok maybe some of you can.

I’m normally drawn to lever guns, revolvers etc. but have always loved my 10-22s and used to have an old Ruger .44mag carbine. I was looking for something similar to my 10-22 but with a tad more power. I really like the Mini 14 but they are quite pricey now. This little 9mm PC carbine is a BLAST to shoot. The iron sights are good and I added a Sig red dot on a riser. Best of both worlds! I can’t believe how accurate it is even over 50 yds using bulk FMJ ammo. At 25 yards it just makes one big hole when dumping the mags. This is a super-fun gun and easy to maintain especially being take-down. I added a flashlight as well and using good hollow points it would be a great home defense weapon. Get one, shoot it and you’ll love it.
