Cimarron Firearms Sharps Business Single Shot Centerfire Rifle 45-70 Government 32″ Barrel Blued and Walnut Straight Grip Information
Between 1876 and 1880, the Sharps Rifle company offered a no-frills, round-barreled “Business Rifle,” for the shooter who wanted to get the job done, but wasn’t interested in the various “extras” offered by the company. Nonetheless, the Business Rifle still boasted of the accuracy and hard-hitting qualities of other 1874 model Sharps rifles and was equipped with double set triggers. Cimarron’s handsome Business rifle has a 32-inch octagonal barrel with the traditional color case hardened receiver, hammer and lever, double-set triggers, a straight walnut stock with the post 1875-type schnabble-tipped forearm and the comfortable shotgun-style butt plate, and is chambered for the popular .45-70 Government cartridge. Sights are a buckhorn rear and blade front sight. When you shoot a Cimarron Business Rifle, you’ll be Takin’ Care of Business!

I was able to get this out to the local 25yd indoor range, and all I can say is that this gun is FUN!! It shoots like a dream and is easy to point. I had to adjust the elevation on the sight slightly (was hitting low at 15yds), but otherwise it went bang every time!

First selling point is that it takes Glock mags. What is cooler then shooting your Glock with a 33 round mag then swap the mag and put it in a carbine. Second, it has 2 picatinny rails. One on top for a sight of your choosing. It has a rail on the bottom for a bipod, laser, flashlight or however you want to customize it with. It’s lightweight and so fun to shoot. I was shooting 5 to 6 inch groups at 50 yards with a bipod and a red dot. Not sure if that is good but try that with a pistol I bet you can’t. Ok maybe some of you can.
