One of the most unique features of the S20 is the Cartridge + magazine that is made with the reloader in mind. The durable and reliable double-stacked Cartridge+ magazine of the Sako S20, with its longer maximum cartridge length, was built to support reloaders, safeguard the bullet and to ensure optimal feeding. The magazine is designed in a way that supports the cartridges by the shoulder, leaving some space in front of the cartridge tip in the case. This prevents bullet damage from recoil which can have a serious effect on the ballistics. With the S20, the shots stay precise, wherever your journey takes you. Another unique feature of the S20 is the full aluminum chassis. The S20’s rifle chassis is manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminium, and it provides maximum stiffness, robustness and thus accuracy. The weight has been optimised without compromising the rifle’s rigidity. Moreover, the aluminium chassis is not affected by tough weather conditions, keeping accuracy consistent even in varying situations. All Sako rifles, including the Sako S20, also feature match-grade cold hammer forged barrels. There are many advantages to cold hammer forged (CHF) barrels: they’re durable, accurate and have excellent tolerances. The cold hammer forging technique changes the structure of the steel, increasing its toughness and making the barrel life of your rifle longer. CHF barrels do not have to be broken in, but instead have superb out-of-the-box accuracy.

I was able to get this out to the local 25yd indoor range, and all I can say is that this gun is FUN!! It shoots like a dream and is easy to point. I had to adjust the elevation on the sight slightly (was hitting low at 15yds), but otherwise it went bang every time!

Recoil was less than my bergara 6.5 more of a slow push than a slap. Now muzzle blast that completely different

First selling point is that it takes Glock mags. What is cooler then shooting your Glock with a 33 round mag then swap the mag and put it in a carbine. Second, it has 2 picatinny rails. One on top for a sight of your choosing. It has a rail on the bottom for a bipod, laser, flashlight or however you want to customize it with. It’s lightweight and so fun to shoot. I was shooting 5 to 6 inch groups at 50 yards with a bipod and a red dot. Not sure if that is good but try that with a pistol I bet you can’t. Ok maybe some of you can.
